Ronnie Baker Sets Fastest 100m Time Of The Season

Ronnie Baker has set the fastest 100m time of the season. American sprinter clocked 9.87 secs at the Chorzow meeting in Poland.

The 24-year-old’s previous personal best of the season was 9.88 seconds.

The world indoor 60m bronze medallist’s time also eclipsed the previous meeting record of 9.98, which was set in 2014 by Usain Bolt.

He triumphed over 100m in the Rome, Paris and London legs to lead the standings going into the final. His next race is at the Diamond League meeting in Brussels on 31 August.
